What is Ragnarok: The New World?
Ragnarok: The New World is an open-world MMORPG officially licensed by Gravity, rebuilding the classic Ragnarok Online formula in a next-generation engine. Its Open Beta Test (OBT) went live across Southeast Asia on July 16, 2026 for mobile (Google Play and the Apple App Store) and PC via the official client. The Steam version is officially confirmed to be delayed while it goes through Steam's review process — Gravity Game Vision has said more news is coming, but hasn't given a new date.
The game leans into convenience-focused, "grindless" systems — free stat and skill resets, safe gear refining, and offline auto-hunting — alongside classic Ragnarok staples like job changing, MVP hunting, player-run stalls, and the series' well-known marriage system.
